Graduate Course FAQs

  • Can I transfer course work from another university?

In general, six graduate hours can be transferred for the MBA, nine graduate hours can be transferred into the MED and MAT, and 12 graduate credit hours can be transferred into the Master of Arts in the ministry degree programs.

We are happy to evaluate your official transcript(s) to determine whether you are eligible for transfer credits. Please submit a Graduate Transfer Credit Request Form along with your application for admission to have your transcript assess for transfer credits.

  • What if I want to withdraw from a course after the first week of class?

If you wish to withdraw from a class or classes at the graduate school, you must contact the Graduate Academic Services Office to request a withdrawal form. The withdrawal does not become official until you return the completed and signed form to the Graduate Academic Services Office. You will get access to classes one week prior to the start of each term to assess the workload required for your course(s).

All requests to drop must be completed prior to the start of the term. No tuition refund is made after the first three days of the term.

If you wish to withdraw after the first week, you are responsible for the full tuition. If you have obtained a student loan and request a withdrawal prior to the 60% point of the term, the student loan will be pro-rated, initializing a return of funds to the Student Loan Corporation.

In this case, you may owe money to 91福利社, as you are responsible for the full tuition amount. If you have received a refund from the school for additional funds in your loan, the amount owed to the school may be greater than the tuition for the class.

After the first week of classes, you will receive a grade assignment. If you have not made a reasonable attempt to complete assigned work for the course, you will receive a grade of Withdrawal Failing (WF). A WF impacts your transcript in the same way as an F.
