91福利社to Host Annual Faith at Work Business Symposium

Tigerville, SC鈥91福利社鈥檚 (NGU) College of Business and Entrepreneurship will host its annual Faith at Work Business Symposium on Wednesday, April 9 in Turner Chapel.
The event will feature talks from Jordan Raynor, a bestselling author, international keynote speaker, podcast host, and entrepreneur.
鈥淛ordan Raynor is one of the most prolific Christian writers on business issues in recent years. In addition, he is one of the most in-demand speakers for Christian business conferences,鈥 said John Duncan, dean of the College of Business and Entrepreneurship at NGU. 鈥淗e spoke two times at the annual conference of the Fellowship of Companies for Christ International during the fall, and he will be a platform speaker later in April at C12鈥檚 conference called Current 25.鈥
Raynor will be speaking twice at the event. His first talk will deal with material from his book, Secular Work: 4 Ways Your Job Matters for Eternity (Even When You’re Not Sharing the Gospel), which offers a revolutionary message about how our daily jobs have intrinsic and eternal value.
Raynor鈥檚 second talk with come from material from his book that will be released in May entitled, Five Mere Christians: Binge-Worthy Biographies That Show You How to Glorify God in Your Work, which explores the lives of 鈥渕ere Christians,鈥 like Hannah More, Fred Rogers, C.S. Lewis, and others to show readers what it looks like to follow Christ wherever they live and work.
Raynor has helped millions of Christians in every country connect the gospel to their work through his bestselling books, keynote speeches, , and .
In addition to his writing and speaking, he serves as the Executive Chairman of Threshold 360, a venture-backed tech startup which Raynor previously ran as CEO following a string of his own successful ventures.
He has been selected twice as a Google Fellow and served in The White House under President George W. Bush. A sixth-generation Floridian, he lives in Tampa with his wife and three young daughters. The Raynors are members of The Church at Odessa.

The event is open to the public and will begin at 6:30 p.m. Students who want to receive PALS credit will need to get a PALS ticket in advance.
