The best way to learn business, is to do business. Gain hands-on experience as you intern with an international company or government agency. Apply your in-class studies to on-site, real-world business challenges.
Analyze and evaluate existing businesses of every size. Outline the strengths and weaknesses of each business. Design and propose methods of improvement for each. Then, evaluate the potential pitfalls of your own proposals. It’s critical thinking at its finest.
Business success isn’t just about having great ideas. It’s about convincing others to support great ideas. Hone your communication skills. Create a business plan. Draft a professional proposal. Then, present and defend your proposal with your faculty and peers.
